SMILES - Inspired by our St. Louis Music Intensive Leadership Series, the program includes a variety of works that demonstrate how composers over the past 500 years have created humor in music.
Immigrations - New place Like Home - A dynamic program that celebrates the changing "faces of St. Louis." (Power Point Presentation optional.)
Olympic Harmony! - Inspired by the 2008-2009 Olympic Season, the ensemble performs music from each continent. (Power Point Presentation optional.)
Freeing the Caged Bird - Music created to tell the tales of four extraordinary authors, ask about the option to include our accompanying Power Point Presentation and lecture by scholar, Dr. Kathleen Nigro.
Footsteps of the Land - Celebrating the stories and voices of Native Americans. The program is accompanied by digitally taped voices. (Audio equipment necessary.)
Women, Power and the Journey - Written by a cast of all female composers, this program was originally designed to celebrate National Women's History Month, honoring the lives of women who broke through social and economic barriers.
Euro-Traditions - Performing familiar classical works by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Debussy and many others.
Project Earth Day - Celebrates our earth, people, plants and animals. (Audio equipment necessary.)
Remembering Sacagawea - Created in commemoration of the Lewis and Clark expedition with a focus on Sacagawea as a guide, translator and good will ambassador. (Audio equipment necessary.)
African Roots - This program is a mosaic of American Jazz and traditional music of Africa and the USA, originally designed for the International Festival of African and African American Music.
Fun-damentals - Created for our community audiences and schools in honor of National Music In Our Schools Month, this interactive program combines the exploration of various musical elements with dialog between the quintet and audience.
Sounds of Autumn - A colorful program of Latin, jazz, and classical music for quintet and piano.
International Prayer for Peace - Meditative music from India, Israel, USA, Egypt and China.
Huapango - This program combines lively music of South America, Mexico and Spain, honoring National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration - A delightful musical setting of The Cat in the Hat, arranged for wind quartet and narrator. (Permission to be performed only in conjunction with the national initiative "Read Across America.")
