2002 Earth DayReturn to Special Events page
The EQUINOX CHAMBER PLAYERS celebrated Earth Day St. Louis 2002 with six events throughout
the St. Louis Region.
The April 20th recital at the Shoenberg Auditorium at the Missouri Botanical Garden included: Look in the Eyes of the Dolphin, by P. Schonfeld,
Insects; a Musical Entomology in Six Legs, by John Lampkin, Dark Winds
Rising, by Phillip Bimstein and selections from The Jungle Book.
On April 21st, The Equinox Chamber Players and composer John Lampkin appeared at the Evangelical
United Church of Christ, and then at the OASIS center of Clayton on April 23rd.
The Equinox Chamber Players and John Lampkin also worked with students
at New City School, Townsend Elementary and the University of Missouri-St.
Louis on April 22nd and 24th.
